Chandraayan Pictures | India Space Mission Photos & Pics

Chandraayan 1 with the help of terrain mapping camera took these photos during the Indian Space mission. These were the first photos that the chandraayan 1 took from the space. The Terrain Mapping Camera is operated from the bangalore space research centre, India. The Indian Space data centre processes the images received from the mission. The Terrain Mappin Camera was specially made for the chandraayan space mission and it is capable of taking black and white photos. It was a proud day for all the Indians on Friday the 14th of November 2008 when the Indian Flag got planted on the moon after making a flight of 3,86,000 kilometers from the earth.
