Motorola Droid – Android Phone Review
Motorola is finally storming the markets again with its new DROID. The alliance with Google and Verizon has proved beneficial as DROID is set to compete against the iPhone. With Droid, there is a chance that Android platform will become a huge hit.
The hard edges, angular slopes, mix of metal and plastic, soft touch, glass display, longer keyboard; all these features make Motorola’s Droid a hot pick. The slider section is more secured and functions smoothly than the contemporary sliders. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, camera button, MicroUSB port, and a 5 mega pixel camera. From the hardware point of view, it is simply a wonderful device.
256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM are the internal capacities of the Droid and the chip used is similar to the one in the Palm Pre ad 3GS iPhone. Shooting video files are more enjoyable as Droid gives you a 720×480 resolution. When switching applications, you notice that the speed is more and so is it for other actions as well. But one thing lacking is the multi-touch feature. The SMS and MMS features are enhanced as well.
