The Internet traffic is growing hour by hour. A latest survey reported that the traffic originated from 125 countries around the world

United States and China were the main culprits for the traffic source. Both accounted for 30% of the internet traffic. China topped the list with a 17% traffic rate. China has the largest number of internet users in the world. Around 220 million active internet users are in China whereas United states has around 216 million users.

Taiwan is the third largest country contributing to the internet traffic. Almost 12% of the global internet traffic came from Taiwan alone.Most viruses, bots and worms were found within this traffic.

Venezuala also contributes to the internet traffic with 9%. Out of 125 countries which generated the internet traffic, 10 countries contributed around 75% of the total.

Argentina contributed almost 6% to the total internet traffic. Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Turkey contributed 5%, 4%, 3.5%, 3% respectively. India stood 10th with 2.7% of all the internet attacks.
